The Same Ingredient Your Immune System Makes to Fight Infections

Hypochlorous Acid, AKA HOCl

the antimicrobial so gentle itโ€™s used in wound healing and eye care products – and your new BFF.

Did you know? It’s also the same substance your white blood cells make to kill germs.

Sodium Hydroxide

the detergent that dissolves grease, grime & soap scum. Gentle concentration of just .0000003%.

Did you know? Sodium Hydroxide is used at different concentrations in products ranging from skincare to toothpaste to cleaners.

These two powerhouses create your all-in-one cleaner, deodorizer, EPA-registered disinfectant that’s totally free from toxic chemicals. For a deeper scientific dive into how Force of Nature works and the evidence that supports it, see our full science post.

Iโ€™ve been using this product for almost a year and not only does it save us a lot of money (hundreds in cleaning supplies) but itโ€™s reduced how many of those massive plastic containers we used to throw away…I will continue to recommend this to everyone.

We started using Force of Nature when our 1st child was born, looking for a clean/more natural cleaner that would be safe to use around a baby. We have continued using this product for years now, and LOVE it!!! It cleans everything so well, and I donโ€™t have to worry about harsh chemicals around my kids!

As a physician, it’s really important for me to sanitize my home and office spaces. It’s equally important to me to avoid potentially toxic ingredients around my children and patients. I am thankful for this excellent product and highly recommend it.

I cannot tell you how life changing your product has been for me. All of the other products out that actually kill germs are incredibly dangerous, and the non toxic ones are simply not effective. For anyone out there who thinks “how can these simple ingredients actually clean?โ€ please trust me you will not be disappointed TRY IT 🙂

Your questions answered about Force of Nature

Force of Nature has a light, clean scent that’s similar to a swimming pool. It contains no added fragrances, so itโ€™s ideal for people with sensitive noses, allergies, or sensitivities to strong smells.
Yes. Force of Nature has no toxic chemicals, fumes, or residues to rinse. Itโ€™s safe to use around babies, dogs, cats, food, and even on toys – no rinsing required.
You can use Force of Nature on pretty much any surface, including sealed stone, stainless steel, laminate, plastic, glass, grout, cutting boards, fabrics (do a spot test on an inconspicuous spot first to be sure the fabric is colorfast), and even pacifiers. It’s safe and effective almost everywhere you’d use a cleaner, deodorizer, or disinfectant.
The chemistry to produce a solution that kills 99.9% of viruses, bacteria and fungi for a full 2 weeks is tricky. It’s sensitive enough that if the concentration of each ingredient is off by a even a tiny percent you could easily make bleach, create a solution that doesnโ€™t meet EPA required germ-kill rates, and/or create a solution that doesn’t have germ-kill efficacy for 2 weeks. Another factor is water chemistry. Our appliances sense and automatically adapt to differences in water chemistry. The variability in all these factors are why the EPA requires our Capsules as part of our approval to be registered as a disinfectant, and how our formula is different than typical DIY hypochlorous acid.
Just like bubbles in a soda, hypochlorous acid starts to dissipate over time. To be certain Force of Nature is at its optimal disinfecting concentration, you should use it within 2 weeks. The bottle is 12 oz, vs a typical cleaner which is around 26-32 oz, so most families use about a bottle a week when they use it for all their multi-purpose-purpose cleaning & disinfecting needs (ie replacing bleach, deodorizers, kitchen, bath & glass cleaners).
