  • We will only send you materials you have indicated you want to receive, and we will honor your opt-out requests.
  • In order to cooperate with legitimate governmental requests, subpoenas or court orders, to protect our systems and customers, to ensure the integrity and operation of our business and systems, HCI may access and disclose any information and content (either in your account profile or in the course of using the Service) HCI considers necessary or appropriate, including, without limitation, HCI profile information (i.e. name, e-mail address, etc.), IP addressing and traffic information, usage history, and posted content.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND STORE

While you visit our site, we’ll track: Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order. We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site. When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to: Send you information about your account and order Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints Process payments and prevent fraud Set up your account for our store Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes Improve our store offerings Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders. We collect personally identifiable information from our customers and affiliates who register for an account on the Site on a voluntary basis and only to create or enhance our relationship with them.  We may collect personally identifiable information from you in connection with your request for information about us.  The personally identifiable information you provide that we collect is usually your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, mailing address, billing address and IP address. For the purposes of processing recurring subscription payments, we store the customer’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and a tokenized form of the credit card/payment details. When we take orders your credit card or Paypal details are only stored by us in a tokenized form. We do not store the actual credit card details.

REVIEWS AND COMMENTS

When visitors leave reviews and comments on the site we collect the data shown in the review and comments forms, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We do not display the IP address. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment and if you created a profile in Gravatar’s service, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. You acknowledge and agree that content you post in the reviews or comments areas are public and not private, and that you have no expectation of privacy concerning your use of that content. You acknowledge that personal information that you communicate on the Public Areas may be seen and used by others and result in unsolicited communications; therefore, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE PUBLIC AREAS. We are not responsible for information that you choose to communicate via the Public Areas, or for the actions of other users. However if you contact us we can delete your reviews or comments.

PAYMENTS

We accept payments through PayPal and Authorize.net by Visa. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal and Authorize.net including information required to process or support the payment such as the purchase total and billing information. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

The personally identifiable information we collect is sent to us voluntarily by you through Internet forms, mail, telephone or e-mail correspondence. Like most standard websites, we use log files.  This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer our website, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

INFORMATION USE AND DISTRIBUTION:

As stated above, we collect personally identifiable information in order to grant you an account to the Site and to also create or enhance our relationship with you, including, without limitation, to respond to your questions or comments, to e-mail you with updates and news or to send out information regarding HCI.  Only those who expressly ask to receive such information online or offline will get it.  We do not sell any information to third parties. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personally identifiable information when required by law if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on the Site or HCI.

WHO ON OUR TEAM HAS ACCESS

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and to support you.

HOW LONG WE STORE INFORMATION

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We may transfer Personal Information to third parties for the purpose of providing the Services. WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
