Even more information

Q: Does it kill viruses and bacteria?

A: Yes Force of Nature is an EPA registered disinfectant & sanitizer registered for use in hospitals, ICUs, schools, daycares, veterinary clinics and more. It kills 99.9% of germs including Norovirus, Influenza A, Salmonella, MRSA, Staph & Listeria when used as directed.

Q: Does this kill coronavirus? Does it kill the Delta variant?

A: Force of Nature is on EPA’s list N, the disinfectants approved for use against COVID-19. Force of Nature has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses harder to kill than SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces. Therefore, Force of Nature can be used against COVID-19 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Norovirus on hard non-porous surfaces. EPA expects all products on List N to kill all strains and variants of SARS-CoV-2. EPA Emerging Pathogen Policy.

Q: Do you have a warranty or guarantee?

A: Yes we have both! As long as you use your Force of Nature according to our instructions, it’s covered by a limited one year warranty. We also have a 100% Happiness Guarantee, which means that if you’re not completely satisfied with your Force of Nature Starter Kit or Bundle, you can return it to us within 30 days for a full refund minus the return shipping cost.

Q: Does it have a scent?

A:  Force of Nature has no added fragrances, so it’s perfect for families struggling with asthma and allergies. It has a light swimming pool scent that’s naturally created when salt, water & vinegar are electrolyzed. The scent is from the active ingredient, hypochlorous acid, which is the same active ingredient commonly used in wound, eye & veterinary care products.

Q: Why does the cleaner only last 2 weeks?

A: Just like bubbles in a carbonated drink, hypochlorous acid starts to dissipate over time. To be sure Force of Nature is at its optimal power, you should use it within 2 weeks. The bottle is 12 oz, vs a typical cleaner which is around 26-32 oz. Most families use about a bottle a week when they use it for all their cleaning, disinfecting & deodorizing needs (replacing disinfectants, deodorizers, kitchen, bath & glass cleaners). Families who also use it on floors & rugs use even more. The light ring around the bottom of the Electrolyzer is color coded to let you know when it’s time to make a new batch.

Q: Are your capsules recyclable?

A:  Absolutely! With our Capsules & reusable bottles, you reduce your plastic waste from typical cleaning products by 97%. Force of Nature is Green Seal certified, which means it meets Green Seal’s highest sustainability standards in 4 areas: preserving the climate, ensuring clean water, minimizing waste, and protecting humans.

Q: Can I use it to clean stone? On what other surfaces?

A: Use it to clean virtually any surface – sealed stone including granite, marble & quartz, wood, laminate, stainless steel, glass, grout, tile, porcelain, plastic, rubber & even on high chair trays & cutting boards. Deodorize trash, diaper pails, kitty litter, pet toys & bedding. Clean colorfast rugs (great for pet accidents!), stuffed animals, carseats & strollers. Always test first for color fastness in an inconspicuous spot, let dry before proceeding and don’t use on fabrics labeled “only non-chlorine bleach”. Because Force of Nature has no whiteners like bleach or titanium, it won’t remove set in rust, hard water, or mold stains on porous surfaces. With soap scum, depending on build up & surface porosity, you may need a mild abrasive like baking soda with your scrub brush the first few times. This is because soap scum builds up in layers & can require a few applications to break down. If you’re using Force of Nature on brass or copper, either rinse with water or wipe until it’s thoroughly dry because it shouldn’t sit on soft metals over time.

Q: Has Force of Nature been tested in 3rd party labs?

A: Yes Force of Nature has been tested by 3rd party independent labs for cleaning performance, germ-kill efficacy, ingredient impact on people, and environmental impact. Germ-kill testing and cleaning performance lab test results vs the leading brands are here. You’ll see that Force of Nature kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria and is just as effective as Windex on glass, Formula 409 on grease, Scrubbing Bubbles on soap scum, Febreze on odors, and Resolve on rugs. Force of Nature has also been given the highest rating by the Mayo Clinic’s allergy rating system. We’re also proud to be Green Seal certified for our sustainability leadership. Green Seal certification is awarded to products that meet the highest sustainability standards in 4 areas: protecting humans, preserving the climate, ensuring clean water, and minimizing waste.

Q: Does it work with hard water?

A:  If you have hard water (> 100ppm), please use a water softener, distilled or de-ionized water instead of tap water. This is because the minerals in hard water interfere with the chemistry, making the cleaner less effective, and can shorten the life of your Force of Nature.

Q: How does the cost of Force of Nature compare to other cleaning products?

A:  The on-going cost of the all-in-one multi-purpose cleaner, deodorizer and disinfectant you make is $.09 an ounce (or $.08 an ounce for subscribers), which is up to 80% less per ounce than typical natural cleaners like Clorox Clean-Up, Seventh Generation Disinfectant Spray, Windex Glass Cleaner, Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Scrubbing Bubbles.

Q: How much Force of Nature would I use?

A:  You’d use the same amount of Force of Nature as you use of the products you replace it with. For example if you use it to replace kitchen, bath, glass, floor cleaners, deodorizers and disinfectant sprays, you’d use the same amount of Force of Nature as you do of those products combined.

Q: Why does the cleaner only last 2 weeks?

A: Just like bubbles in a carbonated drink, hypochlorous acid starts to dissipate over time. To be sure Force of Nature is at its optimal disinfecting power, you should use it within 2 weeks. The bottle is 12 oz, vs a typical cleaner which is around 26-32 oz. Most families use about a bottle a week when they use it for all their cleaning & deodorizing needs (replacing kitchen, bath, glass cleaners & deodorizers). Families who also use it on floors & rugs use even more. The light ring around the bottom of the Electrolyzer is color coded to let you know when it’s time to make a new batch.

Q: How do I use it to disinfect or sanitize?

A: We’re glad you asked because a lot of people don’t know the proper way to use disinfectants (not just Force of Nature)! On hard, non-porous surfaces, clean surface of soil or residue so that the disinfectant can come into contact with 100% of the surface. Spray Force of Nature on surface until thoroughly wet. Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes. Let dry naturally or wipe surface with clean cloth or towel. Most people don’t realize that the disinfectants you buy at the store typically have a 10 minute dwell time, and that you need to pre-clean the surface. No matter what disinfectant you use, don’t forget to read the usage instructions carefully.

We like the product very much, especially the fact that it’s not toxic like so many other products. It cleans most every surface very well all around the house. However, it doesn’t seem to eradicate mold on the grout of the kitchen back splash or the grout in the shower. The black discoloration remains. We also truly appreciate the new spray heads since the original ones died on us — probably from over exuberant cleaning!

Hi – A tip for you to try: because grout is porous, you might need a mild abrasive like baking soda with a scrub brush to really get into the crevices. Because Force of Nature doesn’t have any whiteners like bleach, it won’t automatically whiten it so you have to physically remove what’s left in those crevices (which is where the scrub brush & baking soda come in). On-going Force of Nature will prevent the problem from coming back if you spray it on a regular basis. Hope this helps!

  • Marleny

I’m so happy I came across Force of Nature!! I am more than please. Great on grease, excellent glass cleaner ( I ha used many natural products on glass and didn’t do the job, even regular glass cleaner with amonia didn’t work well). Great on soap scum, and deodorizer. And the best part, it is completely natural, and non toxic.
Thank you force of nature !! All the cleaners you need in one. Can’t ask for more !! ??

We noticed you wrote this the day after you ordered and before you tried the product. We hope you like it when you do use it!

  • Karisa

I am a mom of three young children and always searching for the safest product to use ! Well this is definitely it . You can throw away every cleaner you have and replace it with this one product alone which is one of the reason I truly love this along with being so safe . I have used it on my stove top , granite countertops, bathroom , toys and windows so far . It honestly cleans amazing !

  • momof3

I have 3 kids. 7, 4 & 1. I bought this as a birthday gift to myself b/c I kept seeing it pop up and it looked really interesting. When it arrived, I went through 3 capsules in 2 days b/c I was cleaning everything I could! I loved that I could clean everything from bathroom mirrors to counters to inside the microwave and fridge to the living room rug and then deodorize areas with just 1 cleaner! I had my oldest read the kids guide and make the cleaner for me and he was bored/uninterested. Fast forward to a week later. My older kids see me cleaning to BEG to spray and wipe down stuff!! In what I’ve saved on buying cleaners I’ve spent on paying them a small allowance every few days. (Which I am not complaining about…totally worth it!) The best part is, while I know they are careful to not spray it on themselves – I don’t have to worry about them cleaning b/c I know its safe.

  • Simone Jooste

I love force of Nature! I was bit skeptical but I will admit but this stuff is awesome! I love that I don’t have to worry about chemicals in my home and I know exactly whats in it! I also know its fresh and not been sitting on a shelf for ages. This truly deodorizes. I was super impressed. My kitchen sponge usually gets a musty smell but not anymore! I can’t recommend this stuff enough!

  • Rosalee

This stuff is seriously amazing! I went through one whole bottle in 24 hours cleaning EVERYTHING once I got it. I really cleaned everything. Originally my husband made fun of me for buying it, but he has since changed his mind. I did a blind window test on him. FONC vs Windex. Force of nature cleaned better with less product in less time. We are living in the future people! Bathroom-clean. Kitchen-clean. Snot on microfiber couch-clean. Dog poop-clean. Toys-clean. Dirty marks on matte wall paint -clean without stripping paint. In all my home ‘tests’, force of nature cleaned better every time (vs Clorox spray, Clorox wipes, windex, method all purpose, magic eraser, febreeze, etc.) without harmful chemicals. The coolest part is the solution smells like vinegar before you electrolyze it and right after is smells reminiscent of chlorine but a nice smell. Such a cool product. I just got it Yesterday and I’m in love ❤️

Also it costs less than a dollar a bottle, the machine is really cool and has a countdown timer for when the solution ‘expires’, and the spray bottle works like an aerosol sprayer even though it’s not!

  • Lori

I was disappointed on how it cleaned. A friend of mine was raving about it so I thought I would give it a try. Not sure if I was expecting to much because of what a friend had said. But all I know is that I was very disappointed on how it cleaned overall.

    • Meghan Jones

Hi – We contacted you right away to try to help but have not heard back. We’re wondering if you have hard or well water. The minerals interfere with the chemistry, so for families with hard or well water, we recommend distilled or bottled. Some tips: Glass & stainless steel: Because it doesn’t contain any drying accelerants, spraying then wipe thoroughly with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. Soap scum: Depending on build up & surface porosity you might need a mild abrasive like baking soda with a a scrub brush. We’d be happy to help or even refund you within 30 days.

Can I just say what a relief it is to have ONE cleaner that actually really seriously cleans everything in the whole house PLUS deodorizes PLUS kills gross germies? Because this is blowing my mind. I was super skeptical. But I’m totally into getting rid of harmful chemicals in my home (started my own personal care and wellness biz along such lines because I’m so passionate about it!) so I wanted to give it a try. Absolutely without a doubt hands down totally worth it and would buy it again a million times over. This stuff is like a miracle. I use it all over and my kids can clean too because I don’t have to worry about what’s in it! I can’t say enough and I feel like the words I have aren’t sufficient. I have a house full of stinky boys and this is the only thing I’ll ever use to clean my house and make it smell fresh. #nevergoingback #youcantmakeme

  • Maria Foor

I’ve been looking for a practical, eco and budget friendly, cleaning solution for years and I am so excited about this product. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I just thought perhaps it would help some one make a good decision to replace harmful products in their home. I’ve been using this this product for about a week and just finished the first bottle. I used it on practically every surface in my home (wood, marble, granite, wood, stainless steel, porcelain, glass, wood floors) and it even did surprisingly well on my stainless steel appliances. The cleaning power is definerly comparable if not better than other household cleaners. As a deodorizer, I was also impressed. It did well on stinky shoes after I sprayed them throughly and let dry overnight.

Now, can you guys come up a laundry detergent and dish detergent 😀 😀 ?

  • Lara

Loving This Product! I work daily with Celebrity Clients, Health & Fitness Specialists, Bloggers & More! So excited to share this great new product!!!

  • Jill Sanborn

Love this cleaner! I was hesitant because I didn’t think the bottle would go very far. I have used it every day in my kitchen and bathroom for 5 days now and it is about 2/3 full. I am currently pregnant and was looking for something non toxic to clean our bathtubs and sinks. This is it! It has a slight chlorine scent, it doesn’t last long and doesn’t bother me at all. In fact after cleaning the bathroom my son said it kind of smelled like the water park. Lol
